Description
Here are the steps to replace the LCD.
1. Unscrew the gauge ring from the base.
2. Be careful and take all the pieces, including the green PCB.
On the back of the PCB, there is a white connector with many pins. This is the LCD connector and the flat flexible pcb is the screen.
Make sure the LCD screen flex cable is fully inserted into the white connector.
If not, pull gently on the black lock on each side of the connector and push the LCD cable fully in.
Push back the black locks in like the red arrows in the picture.
Install duct tape to secure the connector. See pictures.
